User FAQ
1. The water in the wastewater tank is grey in colour, what should I do?
It is norm that the new filters will dispense out grey colour water in the wastewater tank. To achieve excellent water quality, it is recommended to press and hold “Wash” for 3 seconds for manual flushing at least 3 times.
2. How many water tanks are there?
1.4L Wastewater + 2.6L Tap Water (Removeable Tank)
2L Purified Water (hidden in unit)
3. What if the water in the wastewater tank overflows to the tap water tank?
It is designed this way to reuse the water. It is safe to reuse the wastewater as water in the tap water tank will be filtered and stored in the purified tank. It is recommended to dispose of the wastewater every 3 days or 10 refills of tap water.
4. Water level will in the Tap Water tank not go down at the 100ml mark.
There is a float designed at the 100ml mark, do increase the water level beyond 100ml for water to be filtered.
5. When do I need to change the filters?
Reverse Osmosis Filter – 12 to 24 months
PAC Composite Filter – 6 to 12 months
Strontium Rich Activated Carbon Filter – 6 to 12 months
6. Will the digital display alert me when to change the filters?
When the service life of the filter element is 20%, the indicator light flashes, indicating the filter element needs to be replaced soon.
When the service life of the filter element is 0%, the indicator light remains, indicating the filter element needs to be replaced immediately.
7. How do I change the filters?
Remove the top lid by pressing down, and turn the filters anti-clockwise to remove it.
Assemble the new filters and rotate them clockwise to lock them.
Press & hold the reset button and then touch “Reset” to select the corresponding filter element. Press and hold the “Reset” button for 3 seconds to complete resetting.
8. What is TDS and which TDS level is safe?
Total dissolved solids (TDS) are the amount of organic and inorganic materials, such as metals, minerals, salts, and ions, dissolved in a particular volume of water.
TDS 1 to 8 – Excellent
TDS 9 to 15 – Decent
TDS 16 to 50 – Good
Over 51 – Not recommended to consume
