In particular, two-dimensional (2D) models are used extensively to demonstrate the absolute advantage over the traditional one-dimensional bar models taught in schools. A picture is worth a thousand words indeed. Wherever applicable, the Author believes in drawing a model so effective that it practically takes over the solving process.
