You do not need an App to activate the ANC function. Instead, the button to activate the ANC is found on the headphone. There are 2 ways to operate the ANC button.

Step 1: A short press allows you to toggle between Active Noise Cancelling and Monitoring Mode (turning on ambient sound)

Step 2: Push and hold for 2 seconds to turn ANC OFF or ON.
