Weighted blankets are unique as instead of being filled with cotton or down, it contains materials like glass beads to make them heavier. This weight is evenly distributed across the body for a deep touch pressure, akin to a gentle hug to make you feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable. We’ve designed it with smaller compartments for a more even weight distribution while providing a balance of warmth and breathability.

Note: We recommend that you select one that is up to 10% of your body weight, or 7% of the combined weight of you and the person you are sharing it with. if you are in between sizes, go for the lighter option.

Care Guide

• Hand wash recommended, in cold water at or below 30°C.

• Do not soak.

• Do not iron.

• Do not dry clean.

• Do not tumble dry.

• Do not expose blanket to high temperatures as it may damage the glass beads and padding.

• Gentle detergent is advised, dilute concentrated detergents.

• Do not use any kind of bleaching agent or detergents with bleach as an ingredient, as bleach will damage cotton fibres.

• Check machine’s maximum load if machine wash, wash at gentle wash and spin cycle.

We use a finer, smaller stitch with a tight quilted pattern to ensure that the filling holds up well. It also allows the beads to be uniformly distributed without worry about bunching.

Compared to other common weighted blanket fillers, glass beads are non toxic and lead free, heat dissipating and silent while moving. The very tiny size allows for more even and smooth weight distribution, and suitable for people with physical sensitivities.
