The Tasmanian clover honey adds a hint of sweetness that combines well with the hop and malt flavors. This ale is bottled conditioned creating a natural sediment. A MULTI-AWARD WINNING STRONG HONEY ALE This Braggot typifies the Celtic heritage of this style using a higher percentage than other honey ales of strong-flavored honey to make a robust ale. Using Gum and Manuka honey collected by us from the wilderness of Tasmania, combined with the various malts to produce a warming and smooth flavor. TAVERNER'S HONEY ALE A Red Ale brewed using amber and crystal malts complimented with Tasmanian Meadow honey and lightly dry-hopped with Tasmanian Cascade hops. This copper red-colored ale has a caramel-like malt sweetness that matches the candy flavor of the meadow honey. This ale is bottled conditioned creating a natural sediment. AN AWARD WINNING TAVERNER'S HONEY PORTER ALE This is a highly complex porter brewed using amber, chocolate, and roasted malts, combined with the iconic Tasmanian Leatherwood Honey. Intense in color, rich in flavor. This porter blends the taste of chocolate and toffee with a hint of licorice. Together with spicy notes from Leatherwood Honey that are evident in the aroma and also in the aftertaste. This ale is bottle conditioned creating a natural sediment.
