If you’ve ever browsed the wellness category on Shopee or watched a TikTok “gut health” routine, chances are you’ve seen Nano Singapore pop up. Their products promise everything from smoother digestion and detox support to better sleep, faster recovery, and overall energy – but with the number of supplements available today, choosing the best health supplement can be confusing.
So instead of guessing, we did what lifestyle writers do best: We tested them ourselves. For this Nano Singapore review, we gathered six colleagues and assigned them one Nano Singapore supplement to take consistently for four weeks. No special diets, no controlled conditions. Just real life: work deadlines, gym days, PMS, travel, late dinners, coffee dependence, mala cravings… all the things that truly affect our bodies.

Tested by Videa – “A shockingly effective debloat and detox experience”
Brand promise: A 15-day natural colon cleanse using fruits, vegetables, herbs and fibres to flush toxins, reduce bloating and support digestion.
The 15 Day Colon Detox turned out to be one of the most impactful supplements across the entire trial group – and surprisingly so, even to our tester.
Videa entered this review with moderate scepticism. She has a sensitive stomach, avoids beef, sticks to lighter dinners (often at 9 – 10pm), and maintains a consistent workout routine with weight training and the occasional long run. Her main concerns were bloating, irregular bowel movements, and whether the detox could actually deliver noticeable results without upsetting her stomach.
| Category | Rating | Notes |
| Packaging quality | ★★★☆☆ | More “traditional” than trendy wellness brands, but award badges inspired confidence |
| Ingredient transparency | ★★★★★ | Very clear, strong visual ingredient graphics |
| Ease of Use | ★★★★★ | Easy to swallow |
| Taste / Scent | ★★★☆☆ | Herbal with a lingering bitter aftertaste |
| Initial confidence | ★★☆☆☆ | Sceptical about weight-loss claims |
From day one, the supplement made itself known – and yes, we’re talking about the farts. She described the first week as “lots of farting, and they were quite nasty”, but importantly, zero stomach pain or discomfort. Instead of irritation, her digestion noticeably improved. Her bowel movements quickly became regular and more complete, leading to a consistent feeling of lightness and reduced bloating throughout the day. This alone made the supplement feel worthwhile.
While she doesn’t credit the product for “fat loss,” she did see fluctuations that coincided with improved digestion. Her weight dropped during the first and third week, and although it rose again slightly depending on her food choices, she still ended the month 0.2kg lighter than she began. She remained realistic – attributing potential weight changes to water loss and consistent eating – but still acknowledged the detox’s role in making her body feel less sluggish.
What impressed her most was the increase in overall energy, which she didn’t expect. During Week 3, she felt strong enough to attempt her first 10km run in 10 years. By Week 4, she shaved an entire minute off her pace. Whether this was due to improved gut efficiency, reduced sluggishness, or simply better nutrient absorption, the difference was real and measurable. Even on “chip and fast-food days,” her gut bounced back faster and with more predictable bowel movements – almost like her system had become more efficient.
For debloating, bowel regularity, and an overall digestive reset, the 15 Day Colon Detox emerged as a leading candidate for the best health supplement in Nano Singapore’s range. Results were both noticeable and consistent, with no negative side effects.
| Category | Rating | Notes |
| Effectiveness | ★★★★★ | Definitely reduced bloating alongside more consistent bowel movements |
| Energy & Focus | ★★★★☆ | Energy has improved in recent weeks, but this may be due to a consistent exercise routine rather than the supplements |
| Mood & Stress | ★★★☆☆ | Didn’t notice much change, likely because this is more affected by external factors like work and spending time with loved ones |
| Sleep & Recovery | ★★★☆☆ | No significant changes in sleep quality, which seems more closely tied to daily mood and the level of fatigue from exercise |
| Digestion / Gut Comfort | ★★★★★ | Noticed the biggest improvements here, with reduced bloating and consistent bowel movements |
| Side Effects | ★★★★★ | No negative side effects |
| Consistency / Routine Fit | ★★★☆☆ | Realistic to maintain a consistent meal schedule during working hours, but it becomes more difficult on weekends when meal times are less consistent |
| Perceived Value | ★★★★★ | Worth it as the product delivered on its claims, and would be particularly helpful for those with constipation. |
Tested by Caryn – “The anti-inflammatory support I didn’t know I needed”
Brand promise: High-dose turmeric (with black pepper for absorption) to support anti-inflammatory benefits, joint health, and overall wellness.
Caryn approached Turmeric Curcuma with neutral expectations. She already takes supplements regularly, drinks two black coffees daily, and exercises moderately. Her two health priorities were simple: smoother digestion and faster recovery after workouts.
What she didn’t expect was for this supplement to become her mala-proof shield.
| Category | Rating | Notes |
| Packaging quality | ★★★★★ | Secure, easy to open |
| Ingredient transparency | ★★★★★ | Clear indication of what’s in the supplement, as well as the proportion of each ingredient with each serving |
| Ease of Use | ★★★★☆ | While generally easy to swallow, the dose of 3 pills was intimidating at the start |
| Taste / Scent | ★★★★☆ | Mild “supplement” taste resembling that of probiotic pills |
| Initial Confidence | ★★★☆☆ | Neutral but hopeful |
Caryn normally suffers from the full spectrum of mala aftermath – diarrhoea, stomach cramps, and that infamous burning sensation nobody talks about, but everyone understands. After starting Turmeric Curcuma, she ate mala twice, and both times she experienced none of the usual symptoms. No gastric cramping, no “explosive” aftermath, and no fire in her stomach. Her digestion felt unusually stable, even after harsher foods. This alone made her believe in the product’s anti-inflammatory claims.
One of the most telling moments was also when she accidentally forgot her supplements for two days. During that break, she felt the return of mild bloating and gastric discomfort – and needed Gaviscon one night to ease sudden stomach pains. Remarkably, she bounced back quickly after resuming the turmeric. This “off-week reset” reinforced her belief that her body genuinely responded well to the supplement.
She also noted unexpected benefits during her period and while recovering from influenza. While she doesn’t attribute these solely to turmeric, she found her gut remained steadier, and her body bounced back faster during a period when she usually feels run-down.
But the benefits didn’t stop there. Her muscle recovery also improved noticeably. She described her usual soreness after workouts as lasting 2 – 3 days, but while taking the turmeric supplement, it reduced to just 1 – 2 days.
Turmeric Curcuma deeply impressed Caryn with its digestive support, anti-inflammatory effects, and improved recovery time. It’s especially useful for people with sensitive stomachs, those who indulge in spicy food, or individuals who want joint support without harsh side effects.
The only drawback was the three-capsule dosage, which stained her fingertips yellow and required extra hydration. For people who struggle with pill fatigue, this could be a dealbreaker.
| Category | Rating | Notes |
| Effectiveness | ★★★★⯪ | Less bloating after meals, and the stomach seems less sensitive to harsher foods |
| Energy & Focus | ★★★★☆ | No deviation from her baseline energy levels |
| Mood & Stress | ★★★★☆ | No particular changes |
| Sleep & Recovery | ★★★★☆ | Didn’t see any difference here, which was also not part of the product’s claims |
| Digestion / Gut Comfort | ★★★★⯪ | No gastrointestinal discomfort, with smooth digestion throughout |
| Side Effects | ★★★★★ | No side effects |
| Consistency / Routine Fit | ★★★⯪☆ | Can be a hassle to remember to consume the supplement, as the once-daily dose requires taking three pills at once |
| Perceived Value | ★★★☆☆ | This turmeric supplement promises digestive and joint health but costs ~$0.75 per serving for three large pills, making it less appealing compared to existing probiotics, choline, and inositol supplements at ~$0.50 per day for two standard pills, which already provide similar benefits |
Tested by Shermyn — “Gentle, natural, and especially helpful for travel”
Brand promise: A moringa-packed supplement with over 90 nutrients and 46 antioxidants to support digestion, immunity, detox and overall health.
Unlike some of the more dramatic results from other testers, the Pure Moringa 1100mg delivered more subtle but steady improvements for Shermyn. She lives a balanced, fairly active lifestyle with gym and Pilates sessions weekly and no major dietary restrictions. Her main aim was to improve digestion and reduce bloating, and she hoped the moringa’s reputation as a superfood would help.
Shermyn’s first impression of Pure Moringa 1100MG was positive – the sturdy, hard-plastic bottle with a secure seal felt premium and clearly highlighted its award-winning status. She loved that the supplement required only two capsules per dose and was easy to remember during her structured workdays.
| Category | Rating | Notes |
| Packaging quality | ★★★★★ | Sturdy bottle with seal; visually clear and award-highlighted |
| Ingredient transparency | ★★★★☆ | Clear dosage instructions; unfamiliar with moringa, but the bottle is fairly well-labelled |
| Ease of Use | ★★★★☆ | Easy on weekdays; harder with irregular weekend meals |
| Taste / Scent | ★★★★☆ | Grassy scent at first; resembles green tea on second sniff |
| Initial Confidence | ★★★☆☆ | Neutral but reassured by the 100% natural formula |
In the first week, she immediately noticed improvements in her bowel movements. She went from once a day to about twice a day, and the process felt smoother and less sluggish. This early response gave her confidence that the supplement was doing something positive.
Where Pure Moringa truly shone was during travel. For many people (including her), constipation or digestive irregularities are common when overseas due to changes in diet, hydration, and routine. But during her trip, Shermyn’s digestion stayed remarkably regular. She often felt the urge to poop shortly after lunch every day — a consistent pattern she believed the supplement helped establish. This made her feel more comfortable throughout the trip and prevented the usual “travel bloat” she sometimes experiences.
After returning to Singapore, the effects became milder. She still felt generally okay, but the intense regularity from the travel week and the early weeks didn’t continue with the same consistency. Her digestion plateaued, which made her wonder whether the supplement is most effective in certain conditions — like when her lifestyle is more varied or when her body is under more digestive stress.
Pure Moringa 1100mg is gentle, natural, and effective for maintaining digestive regularity – especially during travel or weeks of an inconsistent diet. While its effects were strongest early on and less prominent later, it remains a great beginner-friendly supplement for digestion without any harsh effects.
| Category | Rating | Notes |
| Effectiveness | ★★★⯪☆ | Felt improved bowel movements in the first week and helpful during travel, though the effects faded later |
| Energy & Focus | ★★★★☆ | As this was not a claimed benefit, no comments were provided |
| Mood & Stress | ★★★★☆ | Not being part of the product’s claims, this observation was left unaddressed |
| Sleep & Recovery | ★★★★☆ | This effect was not part of the product claims, so no comments were made |
| Digestion / Gut Comfort | ★★★⯪☆ | Experienced improved bowel movements initially and reduced bloating even after heavy meals |
| Side Effects | ★★★★★ | No negative effects |
| Consistency / Routine Fit | ★★★★⯪ | Dosage is manageable (2 pills, 35 mins before meals), but adherence was slightly harder on weekends |
| Perceived Value | ★★★★☆ | For less than $20 on Shopee, the product is budget-friendly and a good choice for newcomers to test it out |
Tested by Jena – “A rollercoaster month, but noticeable improvements in Week 4”
Brand promise: High-potency formula to support energy production, relaxation, mental clarity, and heart health.
Jena’s routine is structured and clean: yoghurt breakfasts, veggie-heavy lunches, HIIT and boxing sessions, zero caffeine, lots of herbal tea, and long work hours. Her goals were fourfold: better sleep quality, improved muscle relaxation, better mood stability, and gentle digestion.
Magnesium is often marketed as the ultimate sleep and relaxation mineral, so Jena went into the review with high hopes.
| Category | Rating | Notes |
| Packaging quality | ★★★★☆ | The packaging feels secure, although its appearance is similar to a standard drugstore vitamin, which may not immediately attract potential buyers |
| Ingredient transparency | ★★★★☆ | The labels are clear, with straightforward instructions on how to take the product, though adding a recommended time of consumption would be helpful |
| Ease of Use | ★★★★☆ | The capsules are easy to swallow, but taking three at once can be a bit inconvenient |
| Taste / Scent | ★★★★★ | They are odourless and tasteless, which is definitely a plus |
| Initial Confidence | ★★★☆☆ | Neutral; Only tried the Alcohol Defense pill and haven’t tested the brand’s other supplements or any magnesium-based vitamins |
In the first week, she found herself falling asleep easily but waking up in the middle of the night. This disrupted sleep pattern continued into Week 3, where she struggled to fall asleep and logged only 5 – 6 hours most nights. She couldn’t pinpoint whether this inconsistency was due to the supplement or her stress levels – and she did note that PMS and anxiety were especially intense during this month.
Week 2 offered a brief “false high” – she slept well but was also on drowsy medication due to illness. So she discounted that week’s results entirely.
The breakthrough finally arrived in Week 4, where her sleep noticeably improved. She fell asleep within minutes of closing her eyes and achieved 7 hours on weekdays and up to 8 hours on weekends. This aligned with expectations of magnesium glycinate, which often requires several weeks to build up in the system to produce consistent effects.
Her energy levels throughout the month were surprisingly good, even on days with poor sleep. She felt energised before workouts, recovered faster, and experienced less muscle soreness compared to her pre-supplement baseline. Digestion also improved – from one bowel movement daily to two or even three on some days – all without discomfort.
The supplement didn’t seem to help her mood or stress resilience; Still, the lack of side effects, the tasteless capsules, and the improvement in muscle recovery and eventual sleep quality left her with a cautiously optimistic impression.
Magnesium Glycinate is promising but may require longer than one month to fully evaluate. It’s ideal for those looking for recovery support, easier sleep onset, and mild digestive benefits. Mood impact may vary widely based on external factors.
| Category | Rating | Notes |
| Effectiveness | ★★★☆☆ | Effectiveness was mainly noticed in the final week, with various factors during the month possibly affecting results, indicating that a month may be insufficient to gauge impact The most consistent benefit observed was improved muscle recovery, with noticeably less body pain and fatigue the day after intensive workouts. |
| Energy & Focus | ★★★★☆ | Experienced increased energy, slight sleep improvement in the final week, and reduced post-workout body pain versus when not taking the supplement |
| Mood & Stress | ★☆☆☆☆ | Did not observe improvements in mood or stress resilience, as anxiety and work stress were particularly high this month |
| Sleep & Recovery | ★★★★☆ | Despite early disruptions from stress and body clock changes, the supplement led to clearly better sleep in the final week, with rapid sleep onset at night |
| Digestion / Gut Comfort | ★★★☆☆ | Digestion became better after taking the supplement, with bowel frequency rising from once to 2 – 3 times per day, though bloating might be period-related |
| Side Effects | ★★★★☆ | No major side effects occurred, though it led to increased frequency of urination |
| Consistency / Routine Fit | ★★★★☆ | For someone without medical concerns, daily intake seems realistic, though occasional missed doses may occur, so setting a reminder about 25 minutes before taking it could help |
| Perceived Value | ★★★⯪☆ | Personal experience suggests it’s okay, though more definitive results might require more time without travel or illness interruptions |
Tested by Poppy – “A mild, neutral experience with subtle digestive support”
Brand promise: 40 billion CFU with 6 probiotic strains using nano-encapsulated “Wecpro” triple-layer protection to support constipation, bloating, weight management, immunity and gut balance.
As someone who drinks at least two cups of drip coffee a day, Poppy is a tough critic for gut-related supplements. Her digestion is generally stable, and she wanted to see whether the probiotic could enhance regularity or deliver noticeable improvements.
Poppy’s first take on Probiotic 40 Billion CFU was fairly neutral. The capsules themselves were easy to swallow and came with clear instructions, but the slightly alcoholic scent when opening the bottle caught her attention. Her biggest hesitation came from the lack of third-party testing or quality certifications on the packaging.
| Category | Rating | Notes |
| Packaging quality | ★★★★☆ | The packaging is standard, though typical probiotic products use aluminium foil to ensure active ingredient viability. |
| Ingredient transparency | ★★★☆☆ | The capsules claim to be gentle on the stomach and reduce flatulence |
| Ease of Use | ★★★★☆ | The capsules are conveniently sized and easy to swallow |
| Taste / Scent | ★★★★★ | Slightly alcoholic scent when opening the bottle |
| Initial Confidence | ★★★☆☆ | The lack of third-party testing or quality certifications made her only moderately confident going into the trial |
In Week 1, her digestion felt smooth, but she wasn’t convinced the supplement deserved the credit. She reported no major discomfort but didn’t feel dramatically different from her normal coffee-fueled routine.
By Week 2, she noticed a small but repeated trend: if she took the probiotic after lunch, she sometimes had a second bowel movement later in the afternoon. This was a pleasant sign that her gut might be responding – but again, the effect was mild.
During travel, she maintained this sense of mild positivity. Despite irregular meals and a busy schedule, her digestion stayed regular – a win for people who often get travel constipation. Still, she wasn’t fully convinced that the probiotic alone deserved the praise, especially since she ate more than usual on the trip.
Week 4 was uneventful. Her body settled back into its usual patterns, and coffee remained her primary gut stimulant.
Probiotic 40 Billion CFU is mild, easy to take, and may help maintain digestion – but its effects may feel subtle if your gut is already functioning well. It’s gentle and beginner-friendly, though not a dramatic game-changer for Poppy.
| Category | Rating | Notes |
| Effectiveness | ★★★☆☆ | Effectiveness is modest at best for someone with an already healthy digestive system, resulting in a neutral experience |
| Energy & Focus | ★★★☆☆ | Did not affect energy, but the product did not advertise this as an intended outcome |
| Mood & Stress | ★★★☆☆ | Neutral impact, no changes in mood or stress levels |
| Sleep & Recovery | ★★★☆☆ | No observable effect on sleep or recovery |
| Digestion / Gut Comfort | ★★★☆☆ | Useful for maintaining digestion on trips with richer or heavier meals |
| Side Effects | ★★★★★ | No negative side effects |
| Consistency / Routine Fit | ★★★☆☆ | Safe for daily consumption and suitable for regular use |
| Perceived Value | ★★☆☆☆ | Can be bought when necessary |
Tested by Vasco – “No major changes, but a straightforward experience overall”
Brand promise: A male vitality formula with tongkat ali, ginseng, maca, muira puama and more to support energy, stamina, libido, fertility and muscle growth.
Vasco lives an active, high-performance lifestyle: training 4 – 5 times a week, playing football, and maintaining a balanced diet rich in protein, vegetables, carbs, and fruits. He drinks two coffees a day and averages at least 30 minutes of daily activity, so his body is already accustomed to regular movement and moderate supplementation. With no specific sensitivities or strong expectations, he approached Male Max Extreme with a neutral mindset – curious to see whether it could offer an extra boost to his stamina, performance, or daily energy.
| Category | Rating | Notes |
| Packaging quality | ★★★★☆ | The packaging made a good first impression; visually appealing and sturdy enough to feel premium |
| Ingredient transparency | ★★★☆☆ | The ingredient list and dosage instructions were clear |
| Ease of Use | ★★☆☆☆ | The pill size was notably too large, potentially difficult for users who struggle with swallowing tablets |
| Taste / Scent | ★★★☆☆ | The first taste was slightly strong but still manageable |
| Initial Confidence | ★★★☆☆ | An open but neutral attitude toward the product’s potential |
Across all four weeks, Vasco reported no major changes in his daily performance markers – energy, mood, sleep, digestion, or physical stamina. His weight stayed stable between 60 – 61kg, and none of his tracked metrics showed meaningful shifts that could be attributed to the supplement.
His training routine remained consistent, but he did not notice any improvements in strength, endurance, or recovery – areas where he expected at least a mild benefit. Compared to other performance-related products he has tried (such as micronised creatine), he found Male Max Extreme less impactful.
By the end of Week 4, his verdict was clear: while the supplement caused no negative effects, it also didn’t deliver noticeable benefits aligned with the product’s claims.
| Category | Rating | Notes |
| Effectiveness | ★★★☆☆ | Didn’t see significant improvements; felt other performance supplements (e.g., creatine) were more effective |
| Energy & Focus | ★★★☆☆ | Energy levels remained stable but unchanged |
| Mood & Stress | ★★★☆☆ | No noticeable emotional or resilience benefits |
| Sleep & Recovery | ★★★☆☆ | Sleep quality remained consistent; no improvement in recovery speed |
| Digestion / Gut Comfort | ★★★☆☆ | No digestive discomfort or bloating, but no benefits either |
| Side Effects | ★★★★★ | No negative reactions |
| Consistency / Routine Fit | ★★★☆☆ | Easy enough to take daily, but not compelling |
| Perceived Value | ★★☆☆☆ | Did not experience benefits that justified the price |
| Your Goal / Concern | Recommended Supplement | Why It’s Best for You |
| Frequent bloating, constipation, or irregular bowel movements | 15 Day Colon Detox | Fastest and most noticeable improvement in digestion; reduces bloating and keeps bowel movements consistent. Ideal for anyone who often feels “heavy” or sluggish. |
| Regular stomach discomfort after heavy meals | Turmeric Curcuma | Great for sensitive stomachs; helped reduce mala-related diarrhoea and discomfort. Also improves joint and muscle recovery. |
| Gentle daily support for digestion during travel | Pure Moringa 1100MG | Mild but reliable regularity; especially helpful for preventing travel constipation or supporting digestion on irregular meal schedules. |
| Difficulty sleeping, muscle tension, or slow recovery | Magnesium Glycinate | Supports restfulness, relaxation, and muscle repair. Works gradually but shows strong benefits with consistent use. |
| Already-okay digestion but want maintenance support | Probiotic 40 Billion CFU | Gentle, beginner-friendly probiotic that maintains gut balance without dramatic effects. |
Disclaimer: Male Max Extreme was not included in the above list as it did not produce meaningful results for our tester. However, it also did not cause any negative effects, so you may still consider trying it to see if it works for you. As always, consult your doctor if you’re unsure whether any supplement is suitable for your health needs.
