If you’ve ever Googled for pet-friendly hotels while your furkid is staring at you with those puppy-dog eyes, then same. As a pet owner, I’ve learned the hard way that pet-friendly hotels can mean anything from “allowed in-room only” to “here’s a full breakfast menu for dogs.” So, here’s my curated list of pet-friendly staycation ideas in Singapore with hotels and resorts that will actually be a vacation for both you and your pet. Take your furkid with you, and have a stress-free vacation!

Note: Pet policies and package inclusions change. Always double-check the latest rules right before booking, especially for extra fees and access to public areas.

1. The ultimate staycation for dogs of all sizes: Amara Sanctuary Sentosa

If your idea of a pet-friendly staycation is “let my pet roam, sniff, and nap like royalty,” Amara Sanctuary Sentosa would be your top choice. It’s tucked in greenery and is in close proximity to Palawan Beach for that golden-hour stroll. However, the main highlight is how Amara Sanctuary Sentosa treats your pets like any other guest.

The best part is every size dog is welcome here, from your little Maltese pup to your massive Dalmatian. And, your fur-pal will love getting pampered with their Pampered Paws/Meows package, which includes an overnight stay plus breakfast with your dog or cat. If you’re not up for a stay, you can also celebrate your pet’s birthday at their Sanctuary Tearoom Alfresco or Glass Pavilion with the Pawty Package! However you choose to spend your staycation, Amara Sanctuary is sure to make your pet feel relaxed and welcome.

  • Pampered Paws/Meows Package (From $650++ per night): Includes a stay for 2 adults + 1 dog of any size, daily breakfast for humans, and a proper furkid breakfast menu (with human-grade ingredients).
  • Pet rules & fees: Pets can be in common/public spaces except the gym, pools, spa and indoor dining; dogs must be leashed outside the room. Max 2 dogs; an additional dog costs $150++/night.
  • Why I’d pick this: It feels like a real pawcation resort, not just a hotel that tolerates pets in their rooms. Pets of all sizes are welcome, so your pet will definitely feel like royalty!

2. Pet-friendly staycation in a heritage location: Capella Hotel Singapore

Capella Hotel is perfect when you want a quiet escape where the humans (and pets) get pampered too. This heritage spot is rich with history, as its colonial-style buildings were once barracks for British soldiers in the 1880s. Since then, the buildings have been renovated into hotel rooms for a luxurious getaway you can share with your pet.

Surrounded by lush greenery, Capella Hotel feels wonderfully serene. It’s especially great for dogs like mine who get overwhelmed easily and need a calmer environment to enjoy. I love spending slow mornings on the balcony overlooking the Singapore harbour, then taking a stroll along the garden paths with my doggo. It really feels like stepping away from the city without ever leaving Singapore!

  • Pet & Paw Parent Spa Package (From $1,450++ per night): Includes daily in-room breakfast, a 90-min wellness massage for the pet pawrent, and a pet spa session with two-way transport, plus a welcome basket.
  • Pet rules & fees: Weight limit of 15kg per pet, and pets are restricted from certain areas and facilities.
  • Why I’d pick this: Best for calm, small dogs who love a serene environment, and pet owners who want a relaxing vacation away from the city.

If you forget to pack something for your pet-friendly staycation in Singapore, Oasia Resort Sentosa makes it easy to settle in without the stress. Their Paw-fect Retreat comes with a Welcome Pet Amenities Set that covers the essentials, including feeding bowls, diapers and pet wipes, so you can check in knowing the basics are sorted.

What I like about Oasia is how fuss-free the whole experience feels. I can actually switch off instead of worrying about what I might have left at home. The resort atmosphere is calm and relaxing as it’s far from the city centre. What’s more, there are plenty of outdoor spots nearby for proper walks, and the room’s al fresco courtyard gives your pet their own little open space to roam and enjoy some fresh air.

  • Paw-fect Retreat (From $480++ per night): Paw-fect Retreat includes a 1-night stay, welcome pet amenities set, in-room pet bed/bowl, and partner discounts.

For a lowkey pet-friendly staycation in Singapore, Conrad Singapore Orchard is such a convenient choice. Being right in the heart of Orchard Road makes it easy to plan a simple weekend getaway without travelling too far, especially if you just want something fuss-free in the city with your pet by your side.

What I appreciate is that Conrad isn’t just pet-tolerant, they actually put thought into the experience. Pets are welcomed with plush goose down Ploh beds, and the personalised in-room check-in means you can settle in comfortably without the usual lobby wait. If you’re heading down to Mercatino, your pup can enjoy complimentary water and dog biscuits while you grab a bite.

  • PAWfect Getaway (From $583++ per night): Includes Complimentary Pet Welcome amenities, $80 dining credit, and pet-friendly room amenities

5. Five-star staycation for pampered pooches: Four Seasons Hotel Singapore

190 Orchard Boulevard, S(248646)

I’m a city girl through and through, and my pup fits right into that urban lifestyle. That’s why Four Seasons Hotel makes a great pet-friendly staycation in Singapore. I can book a room right in the middle of the city, and enjoy a proper weekend of rest and relaxation with my dog by my side. It’s a well-known five-star hotel too, so you already know you’re getting that luxe experience during your stay.

That said, do note that Four Seasons only allows pets up to 25 pounds, so it’s limited to smaller breeds. Still, it’s one of the best dog friendly hotels in Singapore as they go the extra mile with thoughtful touches. Where else can you get a personalised pet towel, plus in-room amenities such as a pet bed, feeding bowls and even bottled water for fussier dogs.

  • Pet Package: Four Seasons Hotel does not have specific pet-packages, but give them a call in advance, and they’ll personalise your stay to include your pet!

Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa is already a popular staycation destination, but it’s also one of the best dog friendly hotels in Singapore. It’s easily one of my top picks for pet staycation ideas, especially when so many reviews highlight how genuinely friendly the staff are towards pets.

What’s even better is that Sofitel Singapore Sentosa doesn’t just welcome dogs. They’re open to other furry companions too, including cats and rabbits, and there aren’t weight limits. That means even larger breeds can join in for a well-deserved staycation! With their FurKid Retreat package, you even get a curated Pet Amenity Box with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

  • FurKid Retreat (From $578++ per night): Includes a 1-night stay, breakfast + set dinner for two at Kwee Zeen, a pet amenity box, a pet bed, feeding bowls, and a pet toy

This one’s for the pets (and pet owners) with style! QT Hotels & Resorts Singapore teamed up with smith&burton to refresh their Pup Yeah! package, and it’s designed for the extra pampered pooches. What I like is that it doesn’t just stop at being pet-friendly. With premium smith&burton grooming products, hand-baked human-grade treats from St. Argo, and even in-room dining options like steak tartare and bacon ice cream made just for your pup, it feels more like a pet staycation than a vacation for hoomans! Not to mention, pups of all sizes are welcome, but you’ll need to call the hotel ahead of time so they can make special accommodations.

Your pet will be treated like a VIP here, complete with their own bed, feeding bowls and bottled water. They even get special treats prepared just for them!

I love a hotel that lets your dog roam around its property like any regular guest. That’s is why Hotel Indigo Singapore is one of the best dog-friendly hotels in my books. Plan the ultimate pet-friendly staycation in Singapore! You’ll get poolside access, brunch at Rooftop 88, and a trip to the spa for you and your pooch!

That said, this one is really focused on dogs rather than all pets. It’s ideal if you’re a dog owner, so it works well for me. If you’re a fellow dog owner, you’ll probably appreciate that the facilities and experiences feel tailored to your doggo.

  • Pet Getaway Annual Pass ($1,100++ per year): Valid for one year, and includes 3 overnight stays for 2 adults + 1 dog, Silversky Welcome Amenities Pack, paw print check-in, $50 dining credits, plus in-room pet amenities like a bed, feeding bowls and more
