Best false eyelashes in Singapore: Strip eyelashes

1. Dolly Wink Easy Lash

(Credit: Mandom Official Store)

The Dolly Wink Easy Lash False Eyelash is a great strip lash option to instantly widen your peepers. Dolly Wink’s Easy Lash series has over 20 variants and are “partial false eyelashes”, designed to attach at the outer corners of your lash line. Originating from Japan, Dolly Wink makes some of the best false eyelashes for Asian eyes, especially if you have monolids.

Personally, Dolly Wink’s lashes are by far the most comfortable high-quality strip lashes I’ve tested, which is why I rank it the best false eyelashes in Singapore on this list. Its transparent eyelash band and ultra-thin lash bristles make it a staple for daily wear. Dolly Wink’s stick-type eyelash glue is also a game-changer as it minimises glue messes and makes application efficient. Best part, these strip eyelashes are so easy to apply you’d only need 10 seconds to get them on!

Whether you’re attending a wedding banquet or a corporate dinner event, you’d want the cult-favourite Ardell false eyelashes — widely considered to be the best classic fake eyelash brand in Singapore! To add a little va-va-voom to your eyes without going too overboard, opt for the Ardell Faux Mink Demi Wispies Multipack. These falsies turn makeup looks up notch, giving a subtle sultry look that is sure to bring you compliments!

Ardell has been a staple in the false eyelash community for a reason, and I can definitely vouch for their quality. Like many others online, my sensitive eyes did not react badly to the Ardell LashTite Eyelash Adhesive, and the Demi Wispies were comfortable on the eyes. Just a little tip: while many of Ardell’s lashes suit larger eyes, a quick trim can easily make them fit perfectly!

(Credit: nova-era official)

Looking for falsies fit for everyday wear? The MISSHA Secret Lash is a popular option that comes in various office-appropriate lengths and shades. Developed by well-known Korean beauty brand MISSHA, these babies blend right in with your natural lashes and are the best way to subtly amp up your everyday look!

These false eyelashes have shorter bristles (0.8cm to 1cm), best for replicating a lash lift look. Much like Dolly Wink (#1), these lightweight eyelashes also cater to those with droopy and weak eyelashes. My personal favourite is the #1 Deer lash style which has a blend of black and brown bristles. When applied they look like an enhanced version of my natural lashes and are so weightless you can hardly feel them!

Best false eyelashes in Singapore: Magnetic eyelashes

4. WOSADO Reusable Magnetic False Eyelashes

(Credit: WOSADO Official Store)

Yes, TikTok made me buy it. After all the buzz around WOSADO, I wanted to see if they are truly the best magnetic false eyelashes in Singapore. Here’s my honest review.

The WOSADO Reusable Magnetic False eyelashes checked all my boxes: quick application, comfortable, and most importantly, durable. I tried the No. 1 Silky Black Natural Style which lasted all day without any adjustment or reapplication — though results may vary with environments and activities.

Traditional magnetic lashes typically require a magnetic liner to attach them, but WOSADO’s is unique as it has an innovative magnetic clasp design. Each set includes a top and bottom lash that simply “snaps” together — no eyeliner or glue needed — making application mess-free.

That said, getting the hang of the applicator clip can be a bit tricky. It takes some practice to align the lash magnets and fasten them together. A tip: position the bands as close to your lash line as possible for a secure fit. While WOSADO magnetic eyelashes are on the pricier side, I believe they’re worth the investment. Once you master its application, everything becomes a breeze. Plus, with proper care, these lashes are reusable and last for about 3-6 months — so, according to girl math, you’re actually saving money!

  • Material: Dupond (synthetic fibre) lashes
  • Look: Natural to bold
What I love: Things to consider:
  • Mess-free
  • Durable
  • Reusable
  • Long-lasting wear
  • Wide range of lash styles
  • Tricky initial application
  • Pricey

5. Ardell Single Magnetic Lash 110

(Credit: Guardian SG Official Store)

While Ardell’s magnetic false eyelashes may not be as advanced as WOSADO’s unique magnetic clasp technology, its Ardell Single Magnetic Lash 110 remains a stellar option. Ardell’s false magnetic lashes are one of the brand’s bestselling lashes as application is much easier compared to traditional strip eyelashes. Sporting the brand’s Invisiband, these Ardell magnetic lashes come with a transparent lash band that flawlessly blends into your lash line.

This might be the best magnetic false eyelashes in Singapore for those with smaller eyes as it features a shorter length and comes pre-curved so you don’t have to worry about your falsies sticking out. To test its durability, I took the Ardell magnetic eyelashes for a spin at the beach. To my surprise these lashes held up beautifully against water — earning a spot in my collection of favourite waterproof cosmetics!

  • Material: Synthetic fibre lashes
  • Look: Natural
What I love: Things to consider:
  • Transparent lash band
  • Durable
  • Suitable for smaller eyes
  • Water-proof
  • Requires liner drawing

6. KISS Magnetic Eyeliner & Lash Kit

(Credit: kissnewyorkofficialstorefk.sg)

Another best-loved magnetic eyelashes brand in Singapore is KISS! The KISS Magnetic Eyeliner & Lash Kit offers a fun, flirty option for those partial to magnetic eyeliner lashes. These lashes are lined with five double-strength magnets that help them cling to the smudge-proof, biotin-infused eyeliner provided – you’d definitely be well-prepared for that Tinder date!

The KISS magnetic false eyelashes however require application using a liquid brush magnetic liner, which first time users may find quite messy. Compared to other false eyelashes I’ve tried, the KISS magnetic false eyelashes lean more towards full-glam, starring longer and fuller lashes.

  • Material: Synthetic fibre lashes
  • Look: Bold
What I love: Things to consider:
  • Smudge-proof
  • Biotin-infused eyeliner
  • Wide range of lash styles
  • Reusable
  • Liquid liner application may be messy

Best false eyelashes in Singapore: Individual eyelashes

7. MengJieShangPin False Eyelashes Set

(Credit: Abpopa.sg)

Always wished for fuller lower lashes? Zhng both your upper and lower eyelashes with these MengJieShangPin False Eyelashes set! These individual lashes come in a set tailored for both the upper and lower lash line. If you’re a fan of the no-makeup-makeup look, individual false eyelashes are your best bet. Unlike strip or magnetic lashes, individual lashes let you customise the fullness to achieve your desired lash thickness — simply add more lashes for a fuller effect.

The MengJieShangPin is one of the best false eyelashes in Singapore because it offers good  length and lash style variety, there are even flared options for a fluffier lash look! These easy-to-apply falsies look and feel so light, they blend right in with your natural ones — just don’t forget to remove them! Overall, they’re a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enhance their lashes for a soft-glam look.

  • Material: Synthetic fibre lashes
  • Look: Natural
What I love: Things to consider:
  • Lightweight
  • Comfortable
  • Customisable fullness and design
  • Wide variety of lash styles
  • Time-consuming application
  • Potential for unevenness

8. GLAMLASH Y-Shape False Eyelashes

(Credit: GLAMLASH)

These 100% handmade GLAMLASH Y-Shape False Eyelashes are among the best false eyelashes in Singapore, especially for those who find strip lashes challenging. Their special Y-shaped design creates a soft, dreamy effect, mimicking the look of a lash lift. However, I must admit that these individual false eyelashes can be quite tricky to apply. The delicate strands require precision, making it a bit of a struggle for beginners to separate and attach each lash piece by piece – and probably worse for our fellow perfectionists.

Additionally, this lash set features a uniform Y-shaped style, which limits customizability when compared to the MengJieShangPin lash set (#7). Nonetheless, for seasoned individual eyelash enthusiasts, these may be the perfect choice as they closely resemble the lashes used by professionals for extensions.

  • Material: Korean Volume Silk Lashes
  • Look: Natural
What I love: Things to consider:
  • Customisable fullness and design
  • High quality material
  • Professional look
  • Varied lengths and curls
  • Time-consuming application
  • Challenging for beginners

Best false eyelashes in Singapore: Cluster eyelashes

9. Dorolab Glue-free Eyelashes

(Credit: DOROLAB.OFFICIAL.STORE.SG)

Thanks to its viral success on TikTok, Dorolab has gained quite the following — and it’s easy to see why. These self-adhesive cluster eyelashes require no glue, making application a breeze. Whether you’re heading to the office or a night out, Dorolab offers a wide range of styles, from their most popular Doll Eyes 10-14mm Eyelashes Extension Set  to the bolder Cat Eyes 9-15mm Eyelashes Extension Set.

But what impressed me the most is their durability. These cluster eyelashes held up remarkably well throughout the day, staying put even through sweat — which I might say is one of the most important factors especially with Singapore’s humid weather! However, to ensure long-lasting wear, it’s best to clean and curl your lashes before application as oily lashes can affect adhesion. It is also good to note that while Dorolab’s eyelashes claim to be reusable, I’ve noticed that the adhesive weakens after a couple of wears. But considering the set comes with 96-132 clusters (depending on lash style), it will last you months!

  • Material: Synthetic fibre lashes
  • Look: Natural to bold
What I love: Things to consider:
  • Durable
  • Comfortable
  • Long-lasting wear
  • Easy application
  • Glue-free & self-adhesive
  • Wide variety of lash styles
  • Reusable only for a couple of wears

10. FLORTTE Glue-free Eyelash

(Credit: moffie)

FLORTTE Glue-free Eyelash, another TikTok sensation, gives DoroLab some stiff competition. These best false eyelashes in Singapore are also glue-free, self-adhesive lashes and easy to apply, featuring a transparent lash band that creates a natural, bare-there finish that’s ideal for lash newbies.

I was initially drawn to FLORTTE’s cute packaging and fluttery lash styles which add a soft, feminine touch to my makeup looks. To my pleasant surprise, their wear time is equally as solid, holding for up to 12 hours! Though, because they stick on so well, you may find some adhesive residue clinging to your natural lashes post-removal — nothing an oil-based cleanser can’t handle.

  • Material: Synthetic fibre lashes
  • Look: Natural
What I love: Things to consider:
  • Comfortable
  • Transparent lash band
  • Long-lasting wear
  • Easy application
  • Glue-free & self-adhesive
  • Affordable
  • Lash adhesive residue

11. GECOMO Glue-free False Eyelashes

(Credit: GECOMO Official Store)

If you’re looking for another budget-friendly option, the GECOMO Glue-free False Eyelashes are a great deal. The set contains 6 pairs (or 36 clusters) of false eyelashes, each with a thin adhesive band. A handy tweezer is also included, for easy application.

GECOMO’s cluster eyelashes come with a thicker black band, so this may not be as beginner friendly as FLORTTE’s (#10). Nonetheless, I recommend trimming the lashes when needed to make them fit your eye shape better. Once applied, these cluster eyelashes last a good six hours — perfect for shorter outings or casual events. Although GECOMO may not offer the same longevity as Dorolab (#9) and FLORTTE (#10), their affordability makes them a practical choice for quick, casual wear.

  • Material: Synthetic fibre lashes
  • Look: Natural to bold
What I love: Things to consider:
  • Quick application
  • Comfortable
  • Glue-free & self-adhesive
  • Wide variety of lash styles
  • Affordable
  • May not be as beginner-friendly

What are false eyelashes?

(Credit: Selina Julie / Flickr)

Working like temporary lash extensions, false eyelashes are one of the easiest ways to instantly up your makeup game. False eyelashes are stuck onto your lash line using a latex or acrylate-based adhesive known as eyelash glue. Whether you’re into dramatic, double-stacked lashes or prefer a more demure look, falsies are definitely your best bet for wider, more vibrant peepers!

Do fake lashes hurt natural lashes?

(Credit: Shiny Diamond / Pexels)

One of the most commonly-asked questions about fake eyelashes is their impact on your real ones. When not removed properly, falsies do have the potential to damage the hair follicles on your lash line. This can lead to your natural lashes becoming sparser over time — definitely against the point here! The good news is that when used and removed correctly, false lashes are perfectly safe, even for daily wear! In most cases, eyelash loss arises as a result of improper removal. A rule of thumb? Always avoid using too much eyelash glue, and never, ever just yank off your falsies (yes, even after a long day).

What are the different types of false eyelashes?

  • Strip eyelashes
(Credit: Giorgio Trovato / Unsplash)

Strip eyelashes are the undisputed OG in the world of false eyelashes. They’re essentially premade bands of fake eyelashes that can be attached to your lash line using eyelash glue.  Materials used to make strip eyelashes range from mink, silk, synthetic materials, and faux mink. While strip eyelashes can be worn daily, they are typically not meant to be slept in and should be removed at the end of each day. Today, most of the best fake eyelashes in Singapore are made from either mink hair or synthetic materials. Mink false eyelashes are the best option for a softer, natural look, while synthetic lashes are a budget-friendly alternative favoured for their shiny, glossy finish.

Pro tip for applying the best false eyelashes in Singapore: Allergic reactions to mink hair are not uncommon. With that said, synthetic lashes may also cause irritation with prolonged wear. If it’s your first time trying out falsies, be sure to watch out for heightened discomfort or irritation!

  • Magnetic false eyelashes
(Credit: vviipp.sg)

The rising star in the world of falsies are undoubtedly magnetic lashes. Magnetic eyelashes come in two main categories: magnetic lash strips that “sandwich” your natural lashes on either side, and magnetic false eyeliner lashes. As its name suggests, magnetic eyeliner lashes adhere to your eyelids using a magnetic eyeliner instead. This type of falsies is quickly gaining popularity to become the best magnetic eyelashes in Singapore!

The fuss-free application for magnetic eyelashes makes them the go-to option for those adverse to the hassle of eyelash glue. Besides having a longer average lifespan than traditional false eyelashes, magnetic lashes are also said to be less damaging to your natural eyelashes. But before you run off to stock up on the best magnetic eyelashes in Singapore, it’s worth noting that the risk of eyelash loss remains, especially with magnetic lash strips. Moreover, the learning curve for applying magnetic eyelashes is said to be steeper than that of classic fake eyelashes – so I’d say it’s a give and take!

Pro tip for applying the best false eyelashes in Singapore: Between magnetic lash strips and magnetic eyeliner lashes, my vote definitely goes to the former for its easier application process!

  • Individual eyelashes
(Credit: genielash1.sg)

You don’t have to be the best at fake eyelashes in Singapore for longer, fuller lashes. If you’re new to the false eyelashes game, I recommend starting yourself off with individual single eyelashes! Individual lashes are single strands of false eyelashes, and may be easier for beginners to apply compared to full-sized strip lash sets. (Psst: they work especially well as fake lower lashes, too!)

  • Cluster eyelashes
(Credit: twinkle1.sg)

A fan of individual eyelashes but craving a more dramatic effect? Cluster eyelashes are exactly what you need! As the more voluminous cousin of individual single lashes, cluster lashes typically come with more than three lash hairs. These lashes flare out at the ends for that extra oomph. In our books, this is the best fake eyelashes option in Singapore for not just beginners, but also those with long but sparse lashes!

How to apply fake eyelashes for beginners?

Step 1: Prep your natural eyelashes

(Credit: Tima Miroshnichenko / Pexels)

Prepping your natural lashes for application might be an optional step, but it can make all the difference in your final lash look! The first step involves curling your natural lashes. For the best results, always make sure your eyelash curler is clean and free of any mascara or glue residue. If you’re reusing your false eyelashes, the best way to prevent eye infections or irritation is to clean them thoroughly using micellar water before wear.

Pro tip for applying the best false eyelashes in Singapore: Apply a layer of mascara before fixing on your falsies! This helps them blend more seamlessly with your natural eyelashes. Before you whip out that mascara wand, be sure to avoid these mascara mistakes!

Step 2: Trim the false eyelashes

(Credit: Madame Madeline / Flickr)

Contrary to popular belief, more is not more when it comes to fake eyelashes. As most of the best fake eyelashes in Singapore come in standard sizes, it is important to trim your strip falsies to fit your eyelid size. This helps to ensure a more natural look as well as a more secure fit. To trim your false eyelashes, place an eyelash strip against your eyelid to gauge how much you need. Using a pair of lash scissors, trim the excess off starting from the outer corners. To avoid trimming off more than you have to always cut from the vein of the eyelash strip!

Pro tip for applying the best false eyelashes in Singapore: Not keen on painstakingly trimming your falsies? Consider opting for shorter lash sets (or demi lashes) that you can easily fit along your lash line instead.

Step 3: Apply eyelash glue and wait

(Credit: Glam Fashion / Flickr)

This step has foiled many beginners to even the false eyelashes in Singapore. Without proper execution, it’s easy to end up with an excess of eyelash glue on your lash strip (and trust me — you do not want them in your eyes). Apply a thin strip of eyelash glue onto the elastic band of your lash strip. You’d want the glue to be tacky and not wet when you place the lash strip on your eyelashes, so allow it to set for around 30 seconds.

Pro tip for applying the best false eyelashes in Singapore: For extra long-lasting falsies, try the ‘double adhesive’ technique, which involves dabbing a few dots of eyelash glue along your lash line for a sturdier fit. Not confident in your application skills? Opt for a black eyelash glue so that when it dries, it’ll blend in more seamlessly with your lash line.

Step 4: Time to stick those falsies on!

(Credit: Engin Akyurt / Pixabay)

Now for the fun part – sticking on your false eyelashes! To see exactly where you’re placing your false eyelashes, position your makeup mirror right under your face. Using a pair of eyelash tweezers, look downwards and carefully press the lash strip down onto the centre of your lash line, followed by the outer and inner edges. The trick is to get the lash strip as close to your natural lash line as possible. Give the lash strip around 10 seconds to fully adhere to your lashes. Blink a few times and if they don’t shift or slip off, congrats — you’re good to go!

Pro tip for applying the best false eyelashes in Singapore: To give your falsies an added lift, use your fingers or the back of a spoon to gently push against the lashes!

How to remove false eyelashes?

(Credit: Sora Shimazaki / Pexels)

Don’t let even the best false eyelashes in Singapore ruin your real ones! To properly remove classic false eyelashes and magnetic eyeliner lashes, soak a cotton pad with an oil-based makeup remover. Press it firmly against your lashes before gently swiping it over your eye in a downward motion. The oil will break down the adhesive materials, allowing the lashes to detach easily. If you’re in a pinch, coconut oil is a great natural alternative to oil-based makeup remover!
