HDBs are a familiar sight for Singaporeans but we often fail to appreciate their designs and aesthetic contributions to our urban landscape. However, if you slow down and observe these residential buildings, you may find that many of them have pleasing symmetry and unique patterns. One of the HDB custers to pay attention to is block 497A to 497K nestled in Tampines Street 45. This is about as close as you can get if you want to replicate the famous Hong Kong Yip Cheong Building and Choi Hung Estate Instagram vibes as the adjacent HDB blocks towers over the basketball court in the middle. We would definitely put this photo spot on the top of our list for places to take photos in Singapore!
