We’re in for a treat this 2025, with four out of the 11 Singapore public holidays falling on a Friday or Monday. This means several long weekends to take advantage of! Lucky for you, we’ve put together a long weekend cheat sheet so you can plan out your annual leaves for the rest of the year to enjoy an extended vacation!
Although we’ve already celebrated New Year’s and Chinese New Year, there are still plenty of holidays to look forward to, with the next holiday being Hari Raya Puasa on March 31. While two of these holidays fall on Saturdays, you can still take advantage of off-in-lieu days on the next Monday or Friday, giving you even more opportunities to enjoy the upcoming long weekends in Singapore this 2025!

You can never plan for the holidays too early, especially if you need to chope those long weekends in 2025 before your coworkers do! It helps, too, that New Year’s Day 2026 falls on a Thursday, so you can get an extra-long weekend to de-stress at the end of the year!
This one’s a long one so if you manage to chope it, you’re a lucky one! By taking 5 days of annual leave from 26 December 2025 to 2 January 2026, you get an extra-long holiday break from 25 December 2025 (Christmas Day) to 5 January 2026. It’s the best time to go on that week-long tour around Europe, or go island-hopping around Southeast Asia. Fun in the sun, here we come!
