Located at the Visual Arts Centre, this J-fashion lover’s bazaar gathers over 30 indie vendors peddling adorable alt-fashion apparel, art pieces and irresistibly cute collectibles. Think Tamagotchi keychains, mini clay figurines, sticker books, handcrafted nail art and trinkets that will make you squeal “kawaii~~!”. This roving local flea market is popping up by the sand, offering a treasure trove of local gems, vintage finds and one-of-a-kind artisanal goods. 10. Pokémon Day-to-Night Adventure Presented by Singapore Cable Car

All aboard the Pokémon Day-to-Night Adventure Presented by Singapore Cable Car! The Singapore Cable Car has been decked out in five different Pokémon themes for the holiday season, turning your ride between Mount Faber and Sentosa into a sky-high Poké-journey. By day, hop into cabins adorned with fan favourites like Pikachu, Eevee and Charmander – each ticket even comes with a complimentary Pikachu sun visor, so you can look the part while gazing at the views. After dark (from 7:45pm onwards), the adventure gets even cooler: you’ll receive a special UV flashlight when boarding, which reveals hidden glow-in-the-dark Pokémon patterns on the cabin walls and ceiling! It’s like a mini scavenger hunt in the sky. Back on solid ground, make sure to snap photos with the Pokémon decor at Mount Faber Station – life-size standees and a Pokéball backdrop await. 11. Trace Lion Dance Heritage at Tradition in Motion Exhibition

We’re not lion – this exhibition is a roaring good time. “Tradition in Motion: Singapore’s Lion Dance Heritage” at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) is a vibrant showcase exploring the history and evolution of lion dance in Singapore. You’ll see over 50 artefacts on display – from rare antique lion heads (ever seen a Qing-era Fujian Green Lion?) to vintage photographs, costumes and trophies from local lion dance troupes. Learn about different lion dance styles practiced by Singapore’s various Chinese dialect groups and how this centuries-old art has adapted to modern times. With colourful exhibits and even a partially-built lion head on show (highlighting the craft of our last local lion head maker), it’s an eye-opening dive into a beloved cultural tradition.

12. Join the Hunt at the K-Pop Demon Hunters Fan Pop-Up

If you loved Netflix’s animated film “K-Pop Demon Hunters,” you won’t want to miss this limited-time K-Pop Demon Hunters pop-up event. Taking place at *SCAPE in Orchard, the pop-up is a dream come true for fans (“we are hunters, we love HUNTR/X!” as the slogan goes). Snap selfies in immersive installations that recreate scenes from the movie, featuring demon-slaying backdrops and life-sized character standees. Of course, there’s exclusive merch galore: from cheap-and-cheerful postcards and stickers at just a few dollars, to collectable hoodies and ball caps emblazoned with We Are Hunters slogans. Entry is free, but you’ll need to register as a fan member online to book a visit slot (membership is free – it’s mainly crowd control)

This interactive funhouse features nine themed rooms designed to trigger your happy hormones at max power. The Skullpanda Cage-Uncage Showcase is an immersive exhibition that lets you step into the surreal world of Skullpanda, one of Pop Mart’s most iconic characters. Making its international debut in Singapore, the showcase takes over multiple galleries in the National Museum with six themed, interactive zones designed to delight both hardcore collectors and casual visitors. Explore rooms that bring Skullpanda’s story to life, complete with exclusive Singapore-only installations. Step right up to Cirque Korn, a quirky circus-themed exhibition by New York-born, London-based wax sculptor Janie Korn. Making its debut in Singapore, this whimsical showcase fills Heartware Store & Gallery with intricate candle sculptures that pay homage to nostalgic circus acts. Marvel at dancing poodle figurines, a towering acrobat totem, high-kicking can-can girls, and a clown bear – all carved in wax with delightful detail and personality. Korn, whose playful works have been featured in The New York Times and Vogue, infuses each piece with her signature humour and slightly off-kilter style. As a special treat, the artist herself will host an intimate sharing session during the run, shedding light on her creative process and the stories behind her eccentric candle characters (limited slots available, so keep an eye out for sign-ups). 17. Brewing Nostalgia: Kopitiam Photo Exhibition

Travel back in time over a cup of kopi at Brewing Nostalgia, a regional photo showcase celebrating old-school kopitiams (coffee shops) across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. Held at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, this exhibition features 24 evocative black-and-white photographs by award-winning photographer Lester V. Ledesma. From Tanglin Halt’s humble Peking Room coffeeshop to Penang’s iconic Kek Seng and a charming café in Bangkok, the images offer an intimate glimpse into the shared rituals and warm ambience of vintage kopitiam culture. As you wander through the gallery, you’ll sense the same aroma of nostalgia wafting from each scene – uncles sipping kopi-O, butter melting on kaya toast – revealing how these three countries are united by comforting, yet distinct, coffee traditions. The exhibition also marks 60 years of diplomatic ties between the nations, making it a meaningful tribute to regional friendship through the lens of beloved coffee haunts.
