Singaporeans flock to Marina Bay to watch fireworks light up the sky on New Year’s Eve each year. While it is the ultimate spot to view the dazzling display, securing a stay at a hotel in Marina Bay for comfort is going to be a real challenge. Fortunately, Singapore has plenty of other hotels with equally impressive views of the NYE fireworks. Here are my top recommendations for the best hotels to watch NYE fireworks in Singapore for 2024.
Naumi Hotel is one of the best hotels to catch the NYE fireworks in Singapore. Located near lesser-known vantage points; Tanjong Rhu Promenade and Nicoll Highway Riverbank, Naumi’s Cloud 9 rooftop infinity pool has perfect views of the firework spectacle on new year’s.
Besides its strategic location, I love this boutique luxury hotel for its modern minimalistic style. Chic yet comfortable, the clean colours and angular mirrors boast fashion and art with classy Coco Chanel and colourful Andy Warhol inspired rooms.

Housed in Duo Galleria, the striking pair of honeycombed skyscrapers in Bugis, Andaz Singapore occupies the 25th to 39th floor. The interior decor is inspired by surrounding shophouses in Arab Street — doorbells are designed to look like shophouse post boxes while bathroom doors are shutter-style.
Out of its numerous dining and drinking options, you must not miss the highly-raved rooftop bar, Mr. Stork Nestled on the 39th floor, it offers unadulterated 360-degree views of the city skyline, making Andaz one of the best hotels to witness the NYE fireworks in Singapore.

Check into Fairmont’s Deluxe Harbour King Room and be greeted with a sweeping view of Marina Bay. As one of the best hotels offering direct sight of the NYE fireworks in Singapore, it’s the perfect base for ringing in the new year. Afterward, head to Bar Rogue next door — one of the hottest nightclubs in town and be spotted among the glitterati.
If you don’t wake up with a hangover the next day, be sure to take advantage of the numerous hotel facilities. Gear up for a tennis match at one of their six outdoor courts or pamper yourself with a body massage at the in-house spa, Willow Stream Spa.

You might recognise this hotel for its aesthetically-pleasing biophilic (or “Garden-in-a-Hotel”) interior design. Standing at 21 stories tall with over 500 rooms, PARKROYAL Collection Marina Bay is also one of the best hotels with breathtaking views of the NYE fireworks in Singapore.
I recommend going for the Marina Bay room, popular for its full-length windows and private balcony that overlooks the iconic Marina Bay Skyline. Hehe, there’s also a marble-clad bathroom with a big bathtub for a luxurious New Year’s staycation! What a great way to usher in 2025!

If you’re looking for chic contemporary rooms, great hotel facilities and views to die for, then JW Marriott Singapore South Beach delivers on all counts. The hotel boasts 13 different room types, a luxury spa, a 24/7 fitness centre and a multitude of dining and drinking options!
But what really sealed the deal for me was the rooftop infinity pool. It’s one of the best hotels to capture a perfect shot of the 2024 NYE fireworks in Singapore — guaranteed to leave your followers jealous!

This hotel needs little introduction as it has been part of our city landscape for the last 30 years. Towering above the heart of town at 73 storeys tall, this is easily one of the best hotels to take in the NYE fireworks in Singapore. With newly refurbished rooms following the iconic Swiss characteristics of practicality and elegance, your stay here will be a breeze.
Alternatively, enjoy the fireworks from Skai, a contemporary grill restaurant and bar. Or head to Jaan by Kirk Westaway — a one Michelin-starred restaurant, with a dining philosophy focusing on ‘Reinventing British’ cuisine. Both these romantic restaurants are perfect to ring in the new year with that special someone.

This is one hotel to see and to be seen at. Don’t be beguiled by its relatively shorter height of just nine floors. Its prime location right across from Marina Bay presents front-row seats to the NYE fireworks spectacle! Needless to say, I was blown away by The Fullerton’s historic architecture which had an “old-money” feel. This is one of the best hotels in Singapore, let alone for a celebratory staycation over the new year.
Once dusk sets in, I suggest glamming up and heading to La Brasserie, the hotel’s renowned French restaurant. To cap the night off, watch the fireworks from the hotel’s rooftop bar, The Lantern.

Mandarin Oriental’s iconic-shaped fan is instantly recognisable as a hallmark of opulence and grandeur. Each room features floor-to-ceiling windows, providing unrivalled views of the Padang and Marina Bay Waterfront — common NYE pyrotechnic display sites.
While Mandarin Oriental is one of the best hotels that guarantees NYE fireworks sightings in Singapore, their hospitality supersedes many others located within this central area. The hotel has an array of rejuvenating treatments at The Spa, along with a 25-metre outdoor pool framed by sweeping city skyline views. Not to miss their multitude of dining options from cafes to bars.

With its timeless colonial charm and renowned hospitality, Raffles Singapore is my go-to destination for celebrations. If you’re not a fan of crowds, the serene vantage point at Raffles Singapore provides equally enchanting views of Singapore’s NYE fireworks. This iconic luxury landmark sits along the CBD and across from the Esplanade, positioned away from the turnouts at Marina Bay.
If you do book a stay here, don’t miss a dip in their rooftop pool — another great spot to view Singapore’s NYE fireworks. Otherwise, join others for a countdown celebration at the hotel’s Long Bar!

You may have mistaken this lodging for an office building but it’s certainly one of the best hotels to spectate the NYE fireworks in Singapore. The Westin Singapore occupies the 32nd to 46th floors of a glass building and traditionally draws a corporate crowd. But this little caveat may also allow you to get rooms here if you make last minute staycation plans — so don’t dismiss it just yet!
On level 33, Cook & Brew offers a delicious line-up of popular beer brands and creative bar bites — have those while perched on their high stools and savour the view. However, I highly recommend watching the countdown fireworks from their rooftop pool, for an up-close light show.
