Best self photo studios and photobooths in Singapore
1. Photopia
Planning a unique Valentine’s Day date that’s unforgettable? Capture your love in pixels at Photopia, a self photo studio in Singapore that lets you take professional-looking couple’s photos! Photopia is unlike most self photobooths I’ve been to as they have a complete photo studio with a DSLR camera, studio lights, and interchangeable backgrounds. The basic package includes a 20-minute photo session, a single photo print, and a single collage print. You also get digital copies to look back to later on (and you turn into your next lock screen).
We had fun directing our own poses and choosing our favourite photos. No more stressing about changing poses every two seconds – the longer timer gave us all the time we needed to plan our shots. The best part? There’s no automatic shutter. You get a remote, so you can click whenever you’re picture-ready!

2. Photomatic
Surprise your partner with a full photoshoot for Valentine’s day, and capture your best memories together. Photomatic in Funan provides a complete photoshoot experience complete with hair and makeup with Korean makeup artists! Each photo session lasts 30 minutes, which is more than enough time to plan out the poses you want to do.
I suggest booking a session in advance as reservations take priority over walk-ins. If you can’t find time to book a session, don’t worry! Their rainbow hallway makes a picture perfect backdrop for casual photoshoots and selfies while you wait for your turn.

3. Dollop Photobooth
If you’re looking for a more spontaneous photoshoot, you can find a Dollop Photobooth in 15 locations around Singapore, including Universal Studios Singapore, the ArtScience Museum, and VivoCity. Psst, there’s a Howl’s Moving Castle theme at the ArtScience Museum photobooth for all my fellow Studio Ghibli fans!
While you still get high-quality prints, Dollop Self Photobooths are meant for quick shoots so don’t expect to see props and makeup here. It’s a great memento to keep after a date, and a quick activity you can do with your partner! My tip: prepare some props or costumes beforehand so you can capture a more memorable moment.

4. Fotomat Studio
Not going to lie, we love the black and white vintage photo booth at The Projector. However, it gets a little tight squeezing into that tiny photobooth. Well, no worries about space here at Fotomat Studio, a self photo studio in Singapore specialising in black and white photography. I, for one, cannot get over the glam of these monochromatic photos – they have those old Hollywood vibes that made us look and feel so sophisticated!
Choose from black, grey and white backdrops for your shoot. I suggest coming in light, minimalist-styled clothes for a better result. Another part of the whole experience that I really enjoyed is putting on makeup for a black and white photoshoot, which had to be more dramatic to really pop against the neutral background. The trick is to use your phone camera’s black and white filter to check your makeup before you take the shot!

5. One Click Studio
With a name like One Click Studio, they certainly don’t disappoint with their creative camera angles and quality prints. This self photo studio features a wide, 0.5x lens, which was perfect for a group photo with my friends after a night out. Plus, you get that Y2K aesthetic! A basic photobooth package costs $10, but we added more to get additional prints.
If you’re not keen on DIY photobooths, you can book a reservation at the One Click Studio. At a base price of $15, you get professional-quality photos taken, ready for printing! Plus, you can get more shots, a soft copy of your photos, and more space for you and your friends to squeeze into.

6. Photomanner.
Another hidden gem of a self photo studio in Haji Lane, Photomanner specialises in vintage photobooths with unique backdrops and themes. They even have a vintage elevator booth on the second floor! Expect long lines, however, especially by the elevator-themed booths. I opted for a solo photo session at their red brick wall booth instead – and it was worth the print!
My colleague, who was with me at the time, went for their birdseye photobooth at the back. She got a cool-toned photo with a black backdrop for that atas feel, and the creative birdseye view created a unique angle for an interesting photo. Overall, it was an underrated self photo studio spot that’s worth visiting!

7. Solace Studios
We had a blast with the different themes and backdrops at Solace Studios! My favourite has to be the Solace Airlines at Haji Lane, which featured an airplane powder room theme complete with passport props and plane windows. However, I also loved the vintage elevator theme at their VivoCity booth as it gave me those old movie feels.
Every Solace Studios photobooth has a different theme to it, and it’s fun to try out each one. The Laundrosnap booth at Haji Lane even has its lens in an oversized washing machine, and you can dress in bathrobes and towels for that complete vibe! The viral elevator-themed room is also located at Haji Lane, but it’s priced at $12 for two prints instead of the usual $10.

Best pet-friendly self photo studios and photobooths in Singapore
8. Hoshi Studios
Just by its name, you already know this self photo studio was made for pets. Hoshi Studios isn’t just pet-friendly, it’s a photography studio where you can capture those memories with your furry friends! And it’s not just a place for dogs and cats, too. My friends have brought their hamsters, pet birds, and even turtles to their booths without any problems, as long as their pets were kept well-behaved throughout the session.
A big plus for Hoshi Studios is that they give you more than enough time to get those perfect shots. If your pet is anything like mine, you need a hundred and one shots before they nail that picture-perfect frame! Hoshi Studios allotted 30 minutes for our basic photoshoot session, which was enough time for me to keep my dog focused for a shoot.

9. Life4Cuts
Life4Cuts is already a popular self photo studio, but did you know that all of its locations are pet-friendly? My shih tzu mix insisted on a photo session at one of their booths, and the photos came out pretty good! It was a bit difficult to wrangle my dog for the perfect shot, so it helps to prepare a treat or toy beforehand to keep your pet focused (which didn’t happen here, as you can see).
For the hoomans who want a more memorable photo, Life4Cuts frequently has collaborations for special frames featuring your favourite K-pop idol, show, or brand! They’re currently running a collaboration with Squid Game, so you can take a photo with a guard or frontman without worrying about penalties!

10. Photonow
My dog and I always feel at ease when getting our photoshoots done at Photonow. This pet-friendly self photo studio has such a relaxed vibe that my pup isn’t stressed out at all when taking photos! Plus, their studio lights mimic natural lighting, which looks great on camera.
But the real game-changer has to be its Live View cameras. You can see exactly how the photo will turn out before you take it, so you can adjust your pose, make sure your dog is looking cute, and get everything just right. It’s a helpful feature, especially for fur-parents like me who have to deal with their fidgety pups! If you decide to take your pet in for a photoshoot, just be aware that Photonow counts each pet as one pax, though.

11. Photobytes
Photobytes came highly recommended within my pet pawrents community as they love how creative they can be with their photos. One pet parent even included their dog in their maternity photoshoot – you could practically feel the excitement of the pup anticipating the arrival of their new sibling!
I’ve seen pet owners bring in a wide range of pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits, birds, and even fish! It’s no wonder they’re a favorite among pet owners in Singapore. The studio is so inclusive and provides a ton of fun props for both you and your furry friend to use. Photobytes is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking to get unique and creative photo sessions with your pets!
