What is the schedule for this year’s NDP fireworks?
The main display will take place on 9 August 2025 during the actual NDP parade. For sneak peeks of the fireworks display, two previews will also be held on 26 July and 2 August. The display typically starts around 8pm on these days.
Where to watch the NDP fireworks display in the heartlands?

Don’t fret if you missed the fireworks display during the actual NDP celebrations, as the National Day festivities will extend until 10 August in these heartland areas around Singapore. To secure a good spot for the fireworks display, head over around 7pm.

As you wait for the celebrations to start, pose with Singapore’s national icon for a stunning photo.

This place to watch fireworks in Singapore is considered a hidden gem – I didn’t even know of this building’s existence. This spot is considerably emptier than other viewing spots, so it’s especially great for those who drive and struggle to find parking. It’s also near Funan Mall, so it’s the perfect spot if you want to grab dinner before watching the NDP fireworks display.
