What is the SG Culture Pass?
As announced during Budget 2025, the SG Culture Pass is a brand-new initiative launched by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY), aimed at encouraging more Singaporeans to participate and support the local arts and culture scene. All Singaporean citizens aged 18 years old and above (as of 31 December 2024) are eligible to redeem the SG Culture Pass.
Every eligible Singaporean receives $100 worth of credits, which can be used to offset costs for a variety of arts and heritage experiences, ranging from workshops to even book purchases.
For those who are single and ready to mingle, here is another piece of good news: The government has recently announced a collaboration with dating app Coffee Meets Bagel (CMB). Instead of the typical first dates over dinner, level up your experience with something more unique. From 14 February onwards, CMB couples can get first dibs on promotions for selected date-friendly events with their Culture Pass credits.
When does the SG Culture Pass expire?
The SG Culture Pass expires on 31 December 2028, hence allowing for ample time to explore and decide where to use your credits.

I’m sure most of us have played Monopoly before, but what about Monopoly in real life? As the name suggests, MONOPOLY: HIDDEN Singapore invites you on an adventure to uncover hidden stories of people, places and cultures in the style of a Monopoly game. Bookworms and homebodies rejoice! If events and workshops aren’t really your thing, curl up in the comfort of your home with a Singapore literature (SingLit) book purchased using your SG Culture Pass instead. Choose from a diverse range of prose, poetry and plays in English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil written by authors who are Singaporeans or permanent residents. Personally, I have been saving my credits to purchase a copy of The Original Daughter by Jemimah Wei and Inheritance by Balli Kaur Jaswal, and I definitely still have enough to discover other fantastic reads. If this is your first foray into SingLit, you are in for a sweet literary treat!
16. Singapore Writers Festival

This annual literary flagship event is a must-attend for all book lovers in Singapore. Nothing screams “shiok” more than a free movie ticket. For the cinephiles, you can now use the SG Culture Pass to support selected local films. Simply use your SG Culture Pass to purchase an Everyday Movie e-Voucher, which can be used to redeem eligible films on the Golden Village website. Do note, however, that a $2 convenience fee applies for redemptions made on the Golden Village website.
Currently, there are 3 films eligible for redemption: 3 Good Guys, Liang Po Po vs Ah Beng, and Luck My Life. If you want something to fill your time this Chinese New Year season and are looking for wacky storylines, relatable themes and lots of laughter, these films may just be the perfect fit.
How to redeem the SG Culture Pass?
Singaporeans can redeem their credits directly via the SG Culture Pass website:
- Log in with your Singpass account to access your credits and check your balance.
- Browse through a list of approved events for your perusal, which you can also sort and filter according to your preferences.
- After choosing your desired activity, click “Get tickets” and follow the instructions on the merchant site.
- Select “SG60 Culture Pass” as the payment method during checkout on the merchant site. If the total cost exceeds the amount of credits, you can top up with other payment methods.
Credits can be used for family members’ tickets as well.
