First, we’ll start with the mega water parks in Singapore. They look and sound amazing, and you may not believe they’re free, but they are! Now, you’ll know where to go for your next family trip!
1. Palawan Pirate Ship Water Play Area – Sentosa Palawan Beach
This gigantic pirate ship will let your child’s imagination run wild! Easily one of the largest free outdoor water parks in Singapore, the Palawan Pirate Ship Water Play Area promises an exhilarating experience! There are tipping buckets that’ll cause an avalanche of water when filled and even an entire play area in the form of a pirate ship! The little ones can even pretend to be pirates and launch sneak attacks on their friends or family using the water cannons.

2. Splash-N-Surf – Kallang Wave Mall
The little ones are going to have a splashin’ good time at Splash N Surf! The vibrant, playground topped with three different slides will have them screaming in delight. The various water sprinklers will also help keep them cool from the scorching heat! Bonus: If you’re up for it, you could even treat them to a float along the lazy river ($2) and a stingray experience (from $30).

3. Splash @ Kidz Amaze – Safra Punggol
Splash @ Kidz Amaze is every child’s dream come true! Free for babies under 12 months old, this is the largest free indoor water playground for kids in Singapore. If the beautiful decor of the play area isn’t enough to wow you, we’re not quite sure what will. Have the ultimate Little Mermaid experience as you’re surrounded by everything that depicts life ‘under the sea’. The ocean-themed playground has everything your little one could possibly want. From tipping buckets to numerous slides to even fishes dangling from the ceiling, they’re definitely going to have the time of their lives! This is also the best chance for you to teach them about sea creatures, through the many fixtures around the water park. For the even littler ones, there’s even a shallow pool specially catered for them. No more worrying about them being ‘bullied’ by the older kids in the play areas, as they have a safe zone to play in. The pretty lighting also adds to the serene atmosphere, and parents can look forward to relaxing there with their young children.

Everyone should be all too familiar with the water area atop Vivocity. Watch your little one splash around in the shallow pools while enjoying the gorgeous view of Sentosa! 5. Marina Barrage
Planning for a family day out at Marina Barrage? Why not pack some extra clothes so your child can have fun in the wading pool and fountains too! When they get bored of flying kites or sitting on the picnic maps, the pool is guaranteed to keep them occupied for a long while.

11. Happy Park – Waterway Point (Even more North-East)
But if you’re not so much an outdoor person and want a water area for your little one in the North East Area, why not visit Waterway Point? There’s a play area at the top floor of the mall, where you can casually drop your kids off. The kids can chill out in the shallow waters, among the large, man-made flower petals.

12. Lot One Roof Garden – Lot One Shopping Mall (West)
Lot One is one of the larger water parks in Singapore too and is a great alternative for those who are lazy to travel out of their area. The highlight will definitely be the green water sprinkler frog tunnel!

This is one of the nature-themed water parks in Singapore is complete with a huge watering can that sprays water! It’s a great chance to teach your child about flora and fauna, as they hop about on giant tree trunks and lilypads at the Westgate Wonderland. 14. I12 Katong (East)
Kids can run through water sprinklers and even ride on swings(!) at I12 Katong! The entire area is a huge water-sprinkler fest and the young ones will thoroughly enjoy themselves.

15. Garden Plaza – IMM (West)
IMM is one of the water parks in Singapore similar to that of Nex’s. However, it has the added bonus of a playground (slide and all) on top of the various sprinklers, which guarantees a fun time! There are even mats at the end of the slides so your child doesn’t suffer from abrasion should there be a bad landing! Before or after playing at the water playground, kids can also play at the dry playground beside it, fully equipped with a mini obstacle course. There’s even a mini rock-climbing wall that leads to the slides for the more adventurous tots!

16. Tampines 1 (East)
Tampines 1 has a huge water play area that’s safari-themed! Your child will be able to run free among water spraying animals and even slide down an arctic-themed slide! Adults can also marvel at the magnificent grass animal sculptures that tower over them.

18. Lower Seletar Reservoir Park
For parents who want to sit around and chill while still being able to keep a watchful eye on their little ones, Seletar Reservoir Park has one of the water parks in Singapore that allows you to do just that! There are several areas you can visit, from a shallow pool to water sprinklers, both of which your child will enjoy. You’ll be able to sit around the water play area – on steps so you’re a safe distance away and won’t get wet as your child plays in the water. But you’d still be able to keep an eye out for your kids to make sure they stay safe and out of trouble.
