Even though National Day (9 August) has already come and gone, we still have two public holidays left in Singapore. That leaves us with just one naturally occurring long weekend for the rest of the year, but there’s still time to squeeze in a relaxing break. With a bit of smart planning, you can make the most of your remaining annual leave to enjoy one last hurrah before the year ends. For instance, block off Friday, 26 December, right after Christmas, and you’ll turn the mid-week public holiday on Thursday, 25 December (Christmas Day) into a four-day long weekend!
