Want to beat the scorching heat and burn away calories? Or maybe you’re just looking for a chill spot for your next gathering? Then head to these swimming pools in Singapore that promise to keep you cool and occupied with the number of activities for everyone!

Pro Tip: Before heading down, check out their respective pages for maintenance information and a complete list of available facilities. This will prevent disappointment should any of the facilities be closed!

1. Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex

From a wave pool to a children’s playground, a competition pool and even a smaller pool for little ones, Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex has them all! If you’re planning for a family trip, there’ll be things to do for everyone!

The best part? If you’re someone that enjoys relaxing, there’s a mini lazy river for you to float around in, and even a spa pool that’s great for water jet massages!

Pro Tip: Bring your own floats as they don’t do float rentals! Alternatively, you could purchase them at the swimming or sports store right outside the swimming pool. Take note that floats are not allowed on the giant slide.

2. Jurong East Swimming Complex

For all Westies, Jurong East Swimming Complex is one of the more popular public swimming pools in Singapore, and for good reason. Fully equipped with many facilities and attractions, it’s second only to the various established water parks in Singapore! It’s also a (significantly) cheaper alternative to the pricier water parks!!

You can look forward to three huge slides that’ll get your adrenaline pumping, a decently long lazy river for you to float along, and even a huge wave pool! Two of the slides require a large float (which makes the ride even more thrilling), that are available for rent for a small fee. The floats are also great for chilling on as you drift along the lazy river or fight the currents in the wave pool!

There is also a children’s play area for the little ones, that’ll be the highlight of their day!

Pro Tip: After putting your bags in the locker, ensure you have some spare cash to rent the floats!

3. Seng Kang Swimming Complex

If you’re someone who goes  to swimming pools just for the slides, Seng Kang Swimming Complex is the swimming pools in Singapore to go to! With the many (and we really mean many) different slides, you’re bound to have the experience of a lifetime!

The little ones can also look forward to a play area on top of the many slides. On the other hand, the adults can do some laps in the competitive swimming pool or just chill in the jacuzzis.

4. Jurong West Swimming Complex

Thinking of bringing your little ones for a day out? Jurong West Swimming Complex promises that they’ll have a great time! Although its other facilities are similar to that of the other swimming pools in Singapore, the upside is that there’s a much larger kids play area here.

Children can look forward to experiencing the thrill from an onslaught of water when the huge bucket tips over, much like the one at Wild Wild Wet! Families can also float around in the lazy river, that’s relatively larger in comparison to those in other pools.

5. Pasir Ris Swimming Complex

Pasir Ris Swimming Complex is one of the most popular swimming pools in Singapore for the Easties! With two medium-sized slides and a children’s play area (with a tipping bucket too!), it’s the ideal spot for a family day out!

There’s even a jacuzzi and teaching pool, where you can get your little one started on swimming lessons. As it is relatively new compared to the other pools, you can also expect cleaner and newer facilities!

6. Bukit Batok Swimming Complex

Another of the many swimming pools in Singapore made for little ones is Bukit Batok Swimming Complex. It has an entire pool designated for children! In the middle of the swimming complex is a large pool surrounding the kids’ play area.

You’ll be able to watch over your kids with a greater peace of mind as the water levels are lower. The pretty infrastructure also makes it a nice place to take photos of your kids having a fun time in the pool!

7. Our Tampines Hub

Our Tampines Hub is definitely every kid’s dream swimming pool in Singapore! The interactive swimming pool combines their love for exploring and water, and is an experience not to be missed!

From tipping buckets to water sprinklers and even various slides, your little one will have a whale of a time. There is also a wading pool for younger kids to sit around and play in, and it is consistently 0.3 metres deep so you don’t have to worry too much about deep waters.

That being said, it’s still necessary to have at least one parent or guardian with the child at all times. You’ll never know what can happen, and it’s better to be safe than sorry. Especially since there are still deep pools around the area.

8. Safra Yishun

Are you a Safra member? Then you’re in for a treat! Take a break from the public swimming pools in Singapore and enjoy chalet-like vibes with the exotic decor and stunning swimming pool. You’ll have to see it to believe it we say. There’s even a slide built into rock features, making it feel just like a resort! The rocky background is also great for taking Instagram-worthy shots.

With the links between most of the pools, you can also spare your feet from being scorched as you leave the pool to enter another. No more awkwardly hopping about to stop your feet from burning while pretending that you’re ok 😉

Non-Safra members get to join in on the fun too! If your Safra member friends are kind enough, they can sign in a maximum of 3 other people as guests at any one time!

If you’d prefer swimming laps, a competition pool is also available for you to swim to your heart’s content!
