3. Boulder Movement Singapore
Is your fear of heights holding you back from a good climb? Instead of the regular rock climbing walls that are 25m tall or higher, bouldering involves a much shorter wall. The best part about bouldering is that you no longer need to be restrained by harnesses and ropes — it’s just you and the wall. Ready to pull yourself up to the test? Head over to Boulder Movement, a climbing gym in Singapore that aims to spread the joy of bouldering to more people.
As CBD’s first climbing facility, Boulder Movement’s strategic location is not its only unique selling point. The climbing gym also has an experienced and passionate team that’s always ready to guide climbers to new heights. Don’t forget to participate in the HIIT or yoga classes provided in the gym to give your boul-D a good workout!

4. Onsight Climbing Gym
Onsight Climbing Gym’s huge facility may be intimidating to beginners, but it’s definitely a favourite climbing gym in Singapore for many hardcore climbers! Spanning a whopping 10,000sqft, this climbing gym features a 2,000sqft bouldering surface with 43 lanes and 100 over routes for the maximum climbing experience. There’s also a 15m speed climbing wall for those who aspire to be the Usain Bolt of climbing.
What would truly excite experienced climbers though, are the 11 lanes in the lead-wall zone. Lead climbing still involves a lead climber and a belayer, but the rope is no longer pre-attached to an anchor at the top of the route. Instead, the climber has to clip his rope periodically throughout his climb while the belayer provides extra rope for ascending. If lead climbing sounds like your cup of tea, make sure to sign up for Onsight Climbing Gym’s ABD practice sessions and lead climbing workshop. You’ll need a Level 2 certification to access the lead-wall zone.
