For the D24 durian fans, Emicakes has a highly-reviewed Classic D24 Durian Cake (from $64.80) that has become one of the bakery’s best sellers, and honestly, I can see why. The fluffy chiffon cake pairs perfectly with generous scoops of pure D24 durian flesh, giving it that unmistakable aroma we durian lovers adore.
What I really appreciate is that it’s not overly sweet. It has just the right balance of sweetness, and it never leaves me with that heavy, cloying aftertaste some desserts do. Besides, it’s a good excuse to order some of Emicakes’ overloaded Supreme Durian Puffs ($15.90 for six pieces), with huge dollops of durian pulp that I just can’t get enough of!

3. The Durian Bakery
With a name like The Durian Bakery, you just know they have one of the best durian cakes in Singapore this 2025! Truth be told, their MSW Crepe Cake (from $98) is a hit around our office, and it even convinced our durian-averse colleagues to give it a try! The crepe cake is made with 20 layers of paper-thin yet buttery crepe, alternating with pure MSW durian puree and fresh cream. So what you get is an indulgent but delicate durian cake that isn’t too heavy on the palette.
Likewise, their Oreo Cheesecake ($72) is just as good, with a Musang King core that adds a depth of flavour to the cake. It’s a twist on the familiar favourite, but with a rich, cream cheese base and the iconic flavour of Oreos that is sure to remind you of your childhood.

When it comes to durian desserts, Gin Thye has become somewhat of a household name. Year after year, they relentlessly serve up some of the best treats – from kueh lapis to ice cream cake. Cakesomarvellous puts a tropical twist on burnt cheesecake by swirling in Mao Shan Wang puree with their Durian Basque Burnt Cheesecake (from $55). As a durian girlie, I just had to give this a try.
The cake starts off with that caramelly flavour of your traditional basque burnt cheesecake, but then you get hit with that aroma of MSW durian. The durian pulp even makes the cheesecake creamier, with an almost buttery texture. Some people even compare it to an umami-rich durian ice cream! The cake isn’t too sweet either, so it makes a great dessert even for those without a sweet tooth.

6. Golden Moments
Known for the best durian snowskin mooncakes and luxurious black gold durian, Golden Moments is the place to go for the best durian cakes in Singapore this 2025. Not gonna lie, it was love at first sight when I saw their highly-reviewed Pandan Mao Shan Wang Durian Cake ($110)!
Just imagine a velvety smooth mousse that’s infused with Mao Shan Wang puree. Layered with pandan chiffon cake and topped with crunchy crumble bits, you’ll have an ultra gao durian cake that’ll trigger those drools!

Whisky and durian? That just might be a combination I can get by! While you may have heard about the no-alcohol rule when having durians, Ms Durian Pastry challenges that notion with their Whisky Durian Cake ($125.35) – and I’m so glad they did! The smokiness and alcoholic kick from the whisky not only complements the cake, but also intensifies the durian flavour. Not to mention, it has a layer of meringue on top that gives this cake a slight crunch and indulgent taste!
If you need something that’s more child-friendly, their MSW Durian Kunafa ($71.94) is just as decadent with bits of toasted kunafa, creamy MSW durian, and a mix of cheeses that give the pastry a savoury bite.

8. Ecreativecake
Just look at how pretty that cake is! This D24 Golden Durian (from $42.90) from eCreativeCake might just win the award for the best-looking cake on our list with its pastel yellow cream and durian macaron topping. It’ll be the star of your table when you bring this out at your next dinner party!
But, how does it taste? Well, I can confidently say that it tastes as good as it looks! The cake has a surprise layer of chocolate on the bottom, which cuts through the richness of its generous durian filling. The cake wasn’t too sweet either, so it’ll make a great birthday cake for parents or for those watching their sugar.

Die-hard durian lovers have been caught more than once lamenting about the lack of durian flavour and flesh in cakes. But that’s not the case with their Durian Mousse Cake ($60). Montreux Patisserie has received tons of reviews complimenting the strong durian taste of their cakes, along with their generous durian flesh and durian mousse fillings underneath. The whipped cream is light and fluffy too, so it doesn’t feel overwhelming with the richness of the durian pulp. But bee warned, this cake can be addictive!

It’s the kind of cake that doesn’t need much fuss to stand out, yet it can still turn an ordinary day into something worth celebrating!
While Et Bonheur has a line-up of creative flavours like their Pistachio Wasabi Mochi Cake (from $85) and their Mont Blanc Almond Cake (from $85), it’s the durian one I keep coming back to.
