Here’s an important tip to know before you start working on your Halloween makeup. While the spooky makeup look isn’t about looking clean or flawless, the last thing you’d want is your makeup to end up blotchy, smudged or creased before the Halloween party is over.

To prevent this scary scenario from happening, start by prepping your skin properly before applying your makeup. It’s important to cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise to keep your skin hydrated and give you a radiant complexion. Primer is also an important step in ensuring the longevity of your Halloween makeup. Another simple trick to make your Halloween makeup last longer is to use makeup with a smudge-proof formula! Last but not least, set your look with a setting spray or powder – and be generous with it!

Connect the tip of the line to your inner corners and line the first half of your lower lash line with the black liquid lipstick. Fill in the front half of your upper eyelid with the black liquid lipstick.

Using a dark brown eyeliner, line the inner corner of the left eye. If you have double eyelids, apply the Koji Eyetalk Double Eyelid Glue (available on LEE&W JAPAN) all over your left eyelid to create the illusion of a single eyelid.

18. Cutblush Halloween makeup

This easy Halloween makeup look takes just 15 minutes to complete and is ideal for those strapped for time!

How to create this Halloween makeup idea:

  1. Begin with a foundation that’s lighter than your usual skin colour and conceal any blemishes. Then, fill in your brows and contour your nose as you normally would.
  2. Next, apply an eye primer before using lightest shade in the Holika Holika My Fave Mood Eye Palette – Daisy (available on ASUNG COSMETIC) all over the lid. Repeat this step with the darkest shade in the palette. Focus the shade on the outer corners and down the lower lid to your eyebags. In addition, keep layering on the shadows until you’ve achieved the desired pigmentation before blending out any harsh lines. Then, intensify the lower lids with a black shadow.
  3. Thereafter, line your eyes thickly and wing it out for a more dramatic effect. Next, curl your lashes and apply false eyelashes.
  4. After which, draw the cuts with a dark red liquid lipstick, such as the Jeffrey Star Velour Unicorn Blood Liquid Lipstick (available on klmqco). Using an angled brush (available on minai.sg), draw zig-zag lines across your cheeks. Then, smudge the lines out slightly with a red eyeshadow to give more depth to the ‘wounds’. In addition, use a brighter pink eyeshadow, shade around the lines to create the illusion of a swollen wound.
  5. Wrap things up by dusting some red eyeshadow across the tip of your nose, cupid’s bow and chin. This will help make you look more sickly. Above all, conclude the look by applying a deep red lipstick and smudge it out of your lip line.
