Easy No-Bake Recipes: From Rich Chocolate Tarts To Mini Cheesecakes

Whether you’re in need of a show-stopping dessert for a party or a homely dessert to snuggle up with, you’ll be able to whip up these easy luscious no-bake recipes in no time. From three-ingredient caramel puddings to rich chocolate tarts, there’s something for every sweet tooth. 

Easy no-bake dessert recipes you can prepare under an hour

1. No-Bake Cheesecake Bites

No stranger to the game, cheesecake bites are one of the most popular no-bake desserts. Let your fridge do the work with these creamy and tantalising mini cheesecakes. Topped with a refreshing strawberry jam, this no-bake cheesecake recipe will not only satisfy your sweet tooth cravings but also give you that refreshing boost on a hot day. 

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: Overnight
Servings: 12

Recipe ingredients:

  • 140g graham crackers
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 70g unsalted butter (melted)
  • 450g cream cheese (softened)
  • 150ml sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup fresh strawberries
  • ¼ cup strawberry jam 

Recipe Instructions:

  1. Line a cupcake tray with cupcake liners (available on preferential.sg). Spray cupcake liners with non-stick cooking spray (available on jackygoh95.sg). 
  2. Prepare the graham cracker crust.
  3. In a food processor (available on Tefal Official Store), blend the graham crackers (available on FreshPasar) till it forms a sand-like texture. 
  4. Pour it into a bowl and add in granulated sugar as well as melted butter. Mix till well combined.
  5. Take a tablespoon of the mixture and press it down into the cupcake liners. Pack it down firmly using the base of a measuring cup or the back of a spoon. 
  6. Set it in the freezer till it becomes firm
  7.  For the filling: Mix the cream cheese (available on FreshPasar) in a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment. Mix until it becomes light and fluffy.
  8. Add sweetened condensed milk (available on Khims Convenience), vanilla extract, lemon juice and lemon zest (available on LHH Vegetable) to the mixture. Mix till just combined.
  9.  Put filling into a cupcake liner using a spoon or piping bag (available on allgoods.sg) 
  10. Set it in the fridge overnight 
  11. Take the cupcake liners off
  12. Chop up fresh strawberries and mix it with strawberry jam (available on MK MART), scoop it on top of the cheesecake bites along with a small strawberry wedge and serve! 

2. No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Don’t cookies bring such unexplainable joy? These chocolate oatmeal cookies are extremely addictive and loaded with healthier ingredients (peek at the list below). So you can munch on these without worrying about adding inches to your waistline. 

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
Servings: 20 cookies

Recipe ingredients:

  • 113.5g unsalted butter
  • 122g milk
  • 320g coconut sugar
  • 21.5g cocoa powder
  • 125g almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 243g rolled oats

Recipe Instructions:

  1. Line two baking trays (available on gorgeous888.sg) with parchment paper (available on sakulastore.sg)
  2. In a pot, melt butter over medium heat 
  3. Add milk, coconut sugar (available on Nature’s Superfoods Official Store) and cocoa powder (available on Pastry Mart Official Store) to the pot and bring it to a boil. Once it starts to boil, switch on your timer for two minutes and turn off the heat once the time is up.
  4. Add almond butter (available on Amazin’ Graze Official Store), vanilla extract and rolled oats (S-Mart by Shopee Official Store) to the mixture. Mix it till well combined. 
  5. Scoop the cookies onto the baking trays with a medium-sized cookie scoop 
  6. Flatten the cookies with the back of a  spoon to your desired thickness
  7. Refrigerate for 20 minutes till cookies become firm and voila! 

3. No-Bake Rich Chocolate Berry Tart

Isn’t there just something comforting about indulging in a rich chocolate tart? If you’re a lover of all things chocolate, this easy no-bake recipe featuring a rich chocolate ganache filling is just for you! This impressive and fancy looking tart is sure to be a crowd-pleaser at your next gathering — perhaps for the surprise birthday party you’re planning? Once you make this delicious and ultra-decadent tart, it’ll be the chocolate tart of your dreams. 

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 4hrs 30 minutes
Servings: 8

Recipe ingredients:

  • 24 oreo cookies
  • 85g unsalted butter (melted) 
  • 170g coarsely chopped bittersweet chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 170g coarsely chopped milk chocolate
  • 240ml heavy cream
  • 56g unsalted butter (cut into small pieces) 
  • Toppings (mixed berries, almonds) 

Recipe Instructions:

  1. For the tart crust: blend oreo cookies (available on S-Mart by Shopee Official Store) and butter in a food processor till well combined. 
  2. Press the mixture into a 9-inch tart tray (available on sunsnow.sg)
  3. Chill the crust in the fridge for 30 minutes
  4. Place the bittersweet chocolate (available on Mondelez Official Store) and milk chocolate (available on Mondelez Official Store) in a heatproof bowl. Set aside.
  5. In a small pot, bring heavy cream and butter to a low boil 
  6. Remove the pot from the heat and pour the mixture over the chocolate. Let it stand for one minute.
  7. After one minute, use a silicone spatula to mix until chocolate is melted and smooth 
  8. Pour the mixture into the oreo crust
  9. Let it chill in the fridge for at least four hours or overnight 
  10. Garnish with toppings of your choice and serve! 

4. No-Bake Caramel Pudding

Take your dessert spread to the next level with this easy no-bake caramel pudding recipe. With just three simple ingredients that you probably have on hand, you can whip up this delicate and sumptuous pudding in just 25 minutes! The layer of soft caramel nicely blankets the smooth and silky custard — the perfect ending to a romantic three-course home-cooked meal.

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 25 minutes
Servings: 2

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 70g granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whole milk

Recipe Instructions:

  1. To prepare the caramel sauce: place three tablespoons of sugar and two tablespoons of water into a saucepan. Stir with a whisk and cook over a medium flame till it becomes golden brown. Be careful not to burn the mixture. 
  2. Grease a 7-inch pan (available on Fashion Jewellery) with oil and pour the caramel sauce into it 
  3. To prepare the pudding, add large eggs into a medium bowl. Whisk the eggs and add granulated sugar.
  4. Pour lukewarm whole milk into the bowl and mix till well combined.
  5. Strain the mixture with a strainer (available on gooditem) into the pan with caramel sauce 
  6. Cover the pan with cling film (available on Ares_Marketing) and steam it over medium heat for 20 to 25 minutes
  7. Let it cool and set it in the fridge for one hour
  8. Serve chilled

5. No-Bake Soft And Fluffy Condensed Milk Cake

 

What’s not to love about a soft and fluffy cake? One of the easiest no-bake recipes is this soft and fluffy condensed milk cake will surely send all condensed milk lovers to seventh heaven. You can also add a splash of vanilla or lemon juice to flavour the cake. 

Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 45 minutes
Servings: 6

Recipe ingredients:

  • 3 eggs (separated)
  • 300g sweetened condensed milk 
  • 50g unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 125g all-purpose flour 
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch 
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Recipe Instructions:

  1. Place eggs into a bowl. Separate the egg yolks from the egg white. 
  2. In the bowl with the egg yolks, add sweetened condensed milk and mix until smooth. 
  3. Add vanilla extract and butter to the bowl. Mix till well incorporated.
  4. Pour in the flour (available on FreshPasar), cornstarch (available on Food People Official Store), baking powder (available on S-Mart by Shopee Official Store) and salt into the bowl. Mix till just combined.
  5. Whip the egg whites until medium-stiff peaks form
  6. Fold it into the egg white batter in two batches
  7. Line an 8-inch pan with parchment paper and pour the cake batter in
  8. Cover with foil and steam for 45 minutes on medium-high heat
  9. Once it’s ready, let it cool and serve! 

6. No-Bake Rice Crispy Treats

 

Even if you’re an amateur in baking, you simply can’t go wrong with this recipe. Rice crispy treats are one of the most versatile easy no-bake dessert recipes to make. Customise these treats to your taste buds — top it with chocolate sprinkles, fresh fruits or a scoop of creamy ice cream for that ultimate sugar rush. 

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 45 minutes
Servings: 4

Recipe ingredients:

  • 4 cups cereal of your choice
  • 1/3 cup raw honey
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • Toppings (chocolate sauce, fruits, nuts) 

Recipe Instructions:

  1. Line a baking pan with parchment paper
  2. In a large bowl, mix cereal, honey (available on Biogreen & Etblisse Singapore Official store) and peanut butter (available on Biogreen & Etblisse Singapore Official store) till well combined 
  3. Pour mixture into the baking pan and press everything down till the surface is flat
  4. Put it in the freezer for 45 minutes 
  5. Once set, cut it into squares and top it with your favourite toppings and serve!

7. No-Bake Lime Tart

When it comes to easy no-bake dessert recipes, citrus tarts come up top! A well-made lime tart strikes just the right balance of tanginess and sweetness. Every bite you take will be refreshing, incredibly creamy and have a tart-zing at the end. Top your slice of lime tart with a big dollop of whipped cream to tie all the flavours and textures together. 

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 4 hours
Servings: 8

Recipe ingredients:

  • 125g graham crackers
  • 70g granulated sugar
  • 85g unsalted butter (melted)
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 450g cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • 300ml sweetened condensed milk (1 can) 
  • 80ml lime juice (2-3 large limes)
  • Zest of 1 lime 
  • Toppings (lime slices, whipped cream, blackberries, chia seeds) 

Recipe Instructions:

  1. Start by preparing the graham cracker crust. In a food processor, blend graham crackers, granulated sugar, unsalted butter and ground cinnamon (available on Cheng Woh) till well combined. Press mixture into a 9-inch tart tray.
  2. Chill the crust in the fridge for one hour 
  3. While the crust is chilling in the fridge, prepare the tart filling
  4. Add softened cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, lime juice and lime zest of one lime (available on GrocerKing Official Store) into a large bowl. Using a hand mixer (available on Power Store) and beat on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy. 
  5. Transfer filling into the graham cracker crust
  6. Refrigerate till filling is set, for about three to four hours.
  7. Garnish with toppings of your choice and serve chilled
